The drone system integrates multiple sensors: camera, GPS, barometer, inertial measurement unit (IMU), communication systems, and control systems to enable autonomy.  The drone platform itself is an off the shelf component: Readytosky S500 Quadcopter Frame Stretch X FPV Drone Frame Kit, chosen for its lightweight design and reliability, enabling the team to focus on the software development of the drone.
